We do supp05e, however, that we might refresh your recollection. In hockey, against Acadia, on 3 December we coasted to an 11-3 win after jumping to a first period 6—1 lead. Scorers were Louis Lortie with 3, Paul Martin got 2 and DENNIS HIGH singles were made by Larry Arsenault, Val Mitchell, David Cameron, Ken Burton, Danny Kinnear and Terry Devine. Next day our boys played an outstanding gate with Saint Mary's and we really believe they would have handed the undefeated league leaders a trimming if we had not been forced to play .the last two periods with but three defencemen. /'Goals by Wayne SqUarebriggs, David Cameron and Wilfred MacDonald gave us a 3-1 lead in the opening period, the second was scoreless, but in the third the well- balanced SMU squad scored three to take one of the best games we have seen in a long while 4—3. Since the break, we have played two exhibition games, taking the Charlottetown Eagles 3-2 in a game that wasn't that close. . .the most interest in the contest seeming to be the accident that happened to the beautiful blonde, who always adorns the Centre section, when she was attacked by a puck. We understand she's O.K. but, in future, will always watch the puck and not the players. Goals were scored by Shane Turner, Louis Iortie and Brian Cameron. Showing Danny Kinnear off to his home region, the Panthers took the Easter Kings All V Stars by an 8-5 count. In this game, Snags MCInnis stepped out for a period and Danny DesJardins went in the Panther nets for his baptism of fire. This weekend the Panthers (4-4-1) play in the Forum tm MUST games. Dalhousie (4-2—2) on Saturday and St. F.X. , (5-3—2) on Sunday. We'll be without Terry Devine who'll be out, with a broken wrist, for a few weeks and Bob Mitchell is a doubtful starter. A full and noisy rinkful of fans would help our boys a lot. ‘lhe Saturday night game starts at 7:00 p.m. and the Sunday game at HE LEPAGE SHOE ' Co. LTD. We averted a shutout, however, as we lanbasted McGill 102—79. in the final game as Brooklyn's gift to UPEI 5 Vince Murray, topped our scorers with 27. The team goes to X and SMU this weekend. We are pleased towelcone Keith _ Strieter, from Unionville, Michigan, to the campus.
