Act-v uallY, »I find myself with very little about which to write this week, even the Engineers have disappointed ‘ me by not doing or saying even one rude, crude or otherwise objectionable thing all week. I even towd the idea of. _ not writinggthe colmn at. all, but after all. the 3 trouble I took to get it back in the paper, I didn't dare. Also, I couldn't. bear to dissapoint the throngs of loyal followers who anxiously await this column each week (if‘I say it often enough, maybe Btu Si n eSS_ do c in t y. x v.. < , __... ‘ \ . .~_ I'll care to believe it.) Anyone wandering the hallowed halls of Kelley last anday would have ,‘ noticed the moronic smiles adorning the faces of most Seniors, as they were given a reprieve of one week on the due date for their Policy projects. The 'Bus. Society sponsored the attendance of several illustrious members at the recentannual meeting of ' the Atlantic Federation of Business Students, at Del. Emanuel Amoebi, Iori Mul- lin, Ivy Bender, John (row- boat)R3we, and Bruce Mac— Donald succeeded in thor— oughly erbarrassing us due to their somewhat sodden condition BUT they ob- viously also did a great job representing us as they managed ‘to secure the conference for UPEI next year - congratulations. Speaking of sodden con- dition, I feel Imust‘men- tion here, the conduct ' of some Bus. students at last week's Pig. I won't mention any names but, although we're glad that Richard Brown, Derek Huestis and Norm Bishara had a good time, did they have to prove it by floundering through six inches of beer on the floor under their 11313163??? Actually, I'm glad they did — they re— stored my faith in the ability of Bus. students to party better than any— one else, anywhere (at I .1 =‘I‘l'1e UPEI sun, Thursday, Nov. 717‘, 1977, page 9 w BUSINESS least at UPEI) , AND, they gave me something to write about — I'm ob- viously desperate. ' I was sorry to learn . that our last hockey encounter against the MEAN MAGIINE culmuna‘ ted in a loss for our side- Ihe SIX guys who showed up for our side assured me that it was a hard fought battle, and I know it'll be only one loss in a series of resounding victories. 'Well, I've about “ run out of useful drivel on which to ex— pound, so I'll close for now. I might sug— gest that if anyone has anything they would like to see in this col— umn(besides my resigna— tion as its author), just leave a note with Freda Cox and I'll see what I can do. Stay tuned next week for details Of the next party which is just a— round the corner. Have a good week. Mary Anne Hutchinson .NomN’SJEwELLEnS no. 117 Ko nt Street, Charlottetown .
