     Winter Carnival has come and 
     
     gone for- another year. To 
     
     those of you that got out 
     
     and took part, it will be i 
     
     a week to remember. 
     
    

    
     Things got underway I ‘ 
     
     Jan. “let, seeing talent 
     
    

    
      night at Marion Hall. A 
     
     lot of talent was discovered 
     
     that night. ‘ Tuesday night 
     
     saw a good crowd at the 
     
     Dating Gam .' It was quite 
     
     the Show with all kinds of 
     
     questions and answers. 
     
     Eight couples received 
     
     dinner for two. Afterwards 
     
     things moved upstairs for 
     
     a Greaser Dance, which went 
     
     over very well. . 
     
    

    
     The Pubs that were held 
     
     Wed. , Thursday, Friday and 
     
     Saturday afternoon were well 
     
     attended. The Beer Bashes 
     
     saw a quiet crand Wednesday 
     
     night, but Thursday there 
     
     was a full house at The 
     
     Barn. Friday night's Beer 
     
     Bash had a good attendance 
     
     and everyone agreed that 
     
     it was a good time. 
     
    

    
     Saturday night saw the end 
     
     of Carnival Week with the 
     
     Carnival Ball. A good 
     
     crowd, dressed in their 
     
     finest, danced the night 
     
     away. , , 
     
    

    
     Throughout the week we ' 
     
     saw many appearances from ' 
     
     thePink Panther, who made 
     
     his?, Hers? way through 
     
     The Barn handing out 
     
     "prizes. ’ ‘ 
     
    

    
     Winners of events were
