As his truck is not registered un- der the United States Trotting As- sociation rules. he is not allowed to award money or prizes. A num- ber of horsemen brought their horses regularly to these recess, so Mr. Wiood in order to show his appreciation for their co-operation. invited all the horsemen and their wives to Pownal hall where he had provided an orchestra for dancing. A bountiful lunch, including ice cream was provided for all present.
