N pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this Island. made and paSSed in the 27th year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled “An Act to consolidate and amend the several Laws ini- posing an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony. and for the encouragement of Education ;” and. also, of an Act made and passed in the Thirtieth year of the. same reign, intituled 6‘ An Act to amend the Act relating to Land Assessment :” I do hereby publicly notin the owners or occupiers 'Of land in this Island, for which the annual Assessment or Assessments charged thereon by the said recited Acts 'or some one or more of them, of nine shillings and two- pence, lawful money of this Island for every hundred acres of wilderness or unimproVed lands contained 1n the several Townships and the Islands belonging there- to; and the sum of six shillings and eight-pence of'like money for every hundred acres of cultivated or improv- ed lauos in the said several Townships and Islands as aforesaid; and at the rate of nine shillings and two-pence of like money per hundred acres for Wilderness or unim- roved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetowii; and at the rate of six shillings and eight-pence of like money per hundred acres for cultivated or improved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown as aforesaid; and at the rate of two shilling and six-pence of like money for each and every Lot in Charlottetown. formerly oc- cupicd as the Barrack Square, in proportion to area on the same footing and to the same extent as Town Lots in Charlottetown; and the sum of four shillings Of like money ior each and every uncultivated or unimproved Towri Lot. Common Lot. and Water Lot granted in the Town and Common of Charlottetown ; and the sum of six shillings of like money for each and every uncul- tivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Charlottetown; and the sum of four shillings of like money for each and every cultivated or Improved Pas- ture Lot in the Royalty; and the sum of two shillings and six-pence of like money for each and every cultiva- ted or improved Town Lot and .Water Lot in the said Town; and the sum of two shillings of like money for each and every cultivated or improved Common Lot as aforesaid; and the sum ol‘Two shillings and eight-pence of like money for each and every uncultivated or unim- roved Town Lot and Water Lot in the Town ofGeorge town; and the sum of one shilling and four-pence of like money for each and every cultivated and improved Town Lot and \Vater Lot in the last mentioned Town; and the sum of three shillings and four-pence of like money for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Georgetown; and the sum of two shillings of like money for-each and may .culti- vated or improved Pasture Lot in the last mentioned Royalty; and the sum of twopence .of like money tor each and every acre of Cultivated or improved Land in the, Royalty of Georgetown. called “ leserved Lands; ’ and the sum of three-pence of like money for each and every acrer oflast mentioned lands as may be deemed uncultivated or unimproved Lands. and so in proportion for a less quantityg—is payable; tliat‘unless-tlie Assess- ment or Assessments for the current year Imposed by the said recited Acts. or some one or more 01 “19111an paid into my hands. or the hands ofany of my (lcpiitWS. IN the matter of an application for execution, to be issued against the lands of George Leonard, of Lot No. Four, in Prince County, in Prince Edward Island, Farmer, deceased. and all his former right. title. and interest therein. under the provisions of the Act of the General Assembly of the said Island, passed in the 24th year of the reign ol Her Majesty Queen Victoria, imitulcd “ An Act in amendment of, and in addition to, the acts relating tojudgments entered of Record in the Supreme Court of J udicature,” upon a certain judgment entered of Record in the said Court. in a cause wherein James Reid is Plaintiff, and the said George Leonard, Defendant. Whereas application hath been made to this Court on the part of the EXecutors of the said James Reid. the Plaintiff, stating that the sums of Fifty-two pounds Eighteen shillings and Seven-pence, debt. and Three pounds costs, together with interest on the said £52 18s. 7d., are due and owing on. and secured by, a certain judgment entered of Record against the said George Leonard, in or about Trinity Term, A. D. 1863. for the sum of One hundred pounds Ten shillings. debt. and the said sum ol Three pounds,costs of suit. and execution on such judgment hath been moved {or on behalf of the said. the Executors of the said James Reid. the Plaintiff.
