     that occurred at last 
     
     Sunday night's movie. 
     
     The half hour delay 
     
     was the doings of 
     
     some deliquent who 
     
     felt that is was 
     
     necessary to sever a 
     
     number of wires 
     
     leading to the sound 
     
     system in the Duffy 
     
     Amphitheater. For- 
     
     tunately, a repair 
     
     man rectified the 
     
     situation, thus en— 
     
     abling the film 
     
     society to show the 
     
     movie. Undoubtably 
     
     the act was premedi- 
     
     tated. 
     
    
   
   
    
     ,This matter was 
     
     not taken lightly by 
     
     the administration 
     
     nor the Student Union. 
     
     A joint meeting was 
     
     held. The following 
     
     suggestions were con- 
     
     sidered in an attempt 
     
     to alleviate the ever 
     
     increasing vandalism 
     
     in the Amphitheater: 
     
    
   
   
    
     l. Terminate the 
     
     movies indefin— 
     
     itely. 
     
    

    
     2. Lock Duffy Amphi- 
     
     theater immediately 
     
     following academic 
     
     hours: 
     
    

    
     3. Continue under

     quent(s). As a 
     
     result, the third 
     
     proposal was once 
     
     again accepted, in 
     
     hoping that a more 
     
     subtle approach 
     
     would achieve the 
     
     same results. 
     
    

    
     If anybody has 
     
     any information 
     
     concerning the above 
     
     incident, we appeal 
     
     to you to discuss it 
     
     with any of the 
     
     Student Council 
     
     Executive. If no 
     
     results are ob— 
     
     tained, and such 
     
     incidents occur in 
     
     the future drastic 
     
     measures will have 
     
     to be taken. I am 
     
     hoping that this will
