We are happy to report that we had an outstanding year. Business Out To lunch Bus‘inesspersons Dinner By Holly MacDonald The fifth annual Businessman's Dinner is slated for April 1, 1981, at the Confederation Centre. Guest speaker is Ian A. Gray, president of Canadian Pacific Airlines. The Businessman's Dinner is an enjoyable evening that offers students and local business people the opportunity to socialize and listen to an interesting speaker. Past speakers have included John MacDonald, President of Standard Brands, and Brian Peckford, premier of Newfoundland. This year's guest speaker will be extremely interesting with the timely topic "Airline Turbulence in Canada". Gray will be addressing such subjects as the problem of gaining entry into the Atlantic Provinces and rising fuel costs . The reception is at 6:00 p.m., followed by a prine roast of beef dinner at 7:30 p.m. This year a new addition has been made to the evening. Following the guest speaker there will be another reception for those who wish to remain Grad Dance News Our two main events were rin- roaring successes, and we now have over $1300. in our cof- fers. However, it is still too soon to pat ourselves on the back, because we have one more major obstacle to over- come - the '81 Grad. Dance. As in keeping with UPEI tra- dition, the Junior class is obligated to host this event as a farewell tribute to the 1111 it 1 1’1 Vi? Seniors. However. last year's Junior class went several hundreds of dollars into the hole, and as a result sure of their Senior week activities could suffer. ‘ This year we are planning to make money on this gala event and all Juniors, Soph— anores, and Frosh are urged to attend, as it is sure to he an excellent time. Tickets 1111 11111111111 - can be purchased from the Alumni Office or one of the Junior class executive. People are also needed to help out at Senior week events, so don't be shy - cone forth and give us a hand.
