I CIJRLING RESET Let's go curling in Cornwall. Approximatly fifty people took that advice on Friday Novenber l9 and made the trek out to the Cornwall Curling Club to take part in a curling bonspiel sponsored by the Junior Class. The bonspiel started at ll:00 am. and continued until 6:00 p.m. The bar was also open during these hours, much to the delight of most of the curlers. After the day of curling (and going to the bar) the winners were finally de- cided. We're not sure how they did it but the winners were Dana (who's it going to he tonight) Sanderson, Anne Coady, Doug (this is not the Bio lab) Carmody, and Mark O'Rourke. They received trOphies and mugs for their efforts. The Sanderson rink edged out the nether-up Barry MacLeod rink to take top spot. The runners—up + KATH Y’s Beauty Salon were Barry McLeod, Graham Rodd, Steve Dmrmond, and Kim ('c'anIcurlonyour’ team?) Gass. The runners- up received record albumns as their prizes. ~ In consolation round the winning team was Carl Nicholson, Scott Day, on, Valena Wright, and Stephen BiShOP. They received drinks and Sunday brunches from the Confederation Inn. The door prize, a stuffed "Garfield, " was won by Brian MacLean.. It is rumoured that Brian and Garfield were both seen later that night at a party on Victoria Street.
