The Board shall advertise fully in two consecutive issues of the student news- . paper, by posters, and by .prepared personnel leaflets, all U.P.E.I.S.U. positions. available for student part— icipition in the Spring and Fall of each year and shall advertise fully throughout the rest of the year through the student newspaper and by the use of official notices. - 2. The Speaker of the Stu— dent Union shall ne chair— man of all Council, General Membership, and Executive Committee meetings. 2. The Recording Secretary shall record all minutes of Council, General Membership, and Executive Committee meetings. All minutes shall be approved by the signature of the speaker. ARTICLE XIX - General Meet— ings - 1. General Meetings of the Student Union shall be held no later than thirty adys after the first day of clas— ses of the Fall Semester; the other to be held within three weeks of the change- over meeting of Council. The actual dates for these meet— ings is to be set by the Council at least two weeks prior to the decided date. 2. Other general membership meetings shall be held: a) upon a resolution by a majority vote of the Council b) upon a written request signed by 250 active members of the U.P.E.I.S.U. submit— ted to the Speaker of the Union. The request shall contain specific points to be placed on the Agenda for the_meeting. 3. The Agenda, obeying all requirements as set forth in ‘the Constitution, shall be Qdetermined by the majority vote of the Council with re— commendations by the Execu- tive-Committee._ ' y . 7. If a quorum is not pre— sent at the meeitng, the ,speaker shall declare a gen— eral information meeting and the agenda will proceed; however, without the requir— ed quorum, no motions shall be recognized by the chair. Also of note is the fact that all Union membersfiare allowed to enter the dis— cussions at General meetings, but only active members may vote or submit a motion.
