      Now,
      if
      the
      professors
      wait

      strike
      later
      (around
      March),

      think
      it
      will
      cause
      the
      students

      panic
      more
      ferociously.
      There
      will
      be

      people
      trying
      to
      finish
      courses,
      possi-
     
    
   
   
    
     
      bly
      graduate,
      courses
      will
      have
     
     
      already
      been
      paid
      for
      and
      much
      of
      the
     
     
      work
      will
      have
      been
      done,
      as
      well
      as
     
     
      a
      host
      of
      other
      concerns.
      This
      will
     
     
      force
      the
      students
      to
      put
      more
      pres-
     
     
      sure
      on
      the
      administration,
      which
      will
     
     
      in
      turn
      act
      as
      an
      aid
      to
      the
      professors.
     
     
      In
      other
      words,
      the
      professors
      can
      use
     
     
      the
      students
      as
      a
      battering
      ram
      if
      they
     
     
      so
      choose.
     
    

    
     
      If
      they
      strike
      now
      then
      the
     
     
      students
      likely
      still
      panic,
      but
      proba-
     
     
      bly
      not
      as
      severely
      as
      if
      they
      were
      to
     
     
      strike
      later
      on
      in
      the
      semester
      -
      at
     
     
      least
      it
      will
      still
      be
      possible
      to
      bail
      on
     
     
      the
      semester
      if
      it
      becomes
      necessary,
     
     
      and
      not
      lose
      any
      money
      or
      waste
      any
     
     
      time
      -
      that
      is
      if
      students
      refuse
      to
      pay
     
     
      tuition
      until
      the
      issue
      is
      settled,
      which
     
     
      I
      would
      suggest
      is
      a
      good
      idea.
      I
      will
     
     
      not
      be
      paying
      my
      tuition
      until
      I
      know
     
     
      it
      is
      safe
      to
      pay
      it,
      and
      I
      have
      heard
      of
     
     
      others
      doing
      the
      same.
      I
      recommend,
     
     
      if
      you
      can
      -
      safety
      first,
      I
      say
      to
      my
     
     
      ma'.
      This
      however,
      will
      have
      it's
     
     
      effects
      if
      done
      ‘en
      mass’.
      If
      a
      large
     
     
      enough
      portion
      of
      the
      student
      body
     
    
   
   
    
     
      _
      simply
      decides
      not
      to
      pay
      tuition,
      the
     
    
   
   
    
     
      administration
      may
      panic
      and
      fold
      to
     
     
      the
      professor's
      demands.
      I
      reason
      thus
     
     
      because
      the
      administration
      needs
      our
     
     
      student
      money
      now
      like
      a
      cow
      needs
     
     
      oxygen,
      for
      if
      they
      don't
      get
      it,
      and
      the
     
     
      professors
      are
      still
      on
      strike,
      adminis-
     
     
      tration
      could
      possibly
      face
      some
      inter-
     
     
      esting
      economic
      difficulties.
     
    

    
     
      I
      would
      like
      to
      add,
      again,
     
     
      that
      this
      is
      my
      own
      reasoning,
      and
     
     
      that
      nothing
      is
      really
      certain,
      especial-
     
     
      ly
      as
      of
      yet.
