They D by Jim Whalen - Well the Senior Class Dancethcm is over for another year. Although quite a few students indicated an interes in participating in the mnoetlm, only seven students shoed up at five P-m- 'Ihursday to dance; Although sane feel it was badly publicized, it had- been previously discussed at Senior neetings which all seniors sl'mld attend. Although there was only - seven dancers, the Danoethon was a success; we received approxinately five hundred dellars in pledges. This year's Danoethon endured for twenty-five hours with a five minute break every hour. We began by dancing at fiVe p.m. Thursday evening March 12 and finished up at six o'clock Friday, March 13. Frcm 10 {mm to l a.m on Thursday we had the Opportunity to boogie to the music of the Dovahild Blues Band. We would also like to thank those who supplied the food - MacDonalds which donated a huge breakfast of , hash browns and sixteen ' Egg Madmffins on Friday morning; John May of the Bread Bin, who gave us three dozen donuts, cookies, and cinnamon rolls; the AW which donated burgers; the Burger King for suppling forty orders of fries and twenty regular cokes; and also Roan 211 Blanchard for taking up two pizzas.
