MCINNIS Angus T. Mclnnis of . Goahen. Indiana, died at his home there of a. heart attack on November lath. A Goshen resident for 15 years. Mr. Mclnnis had previously resid- ed in Des Moinea, Iowa. for 13 years. and was a native of south- port, P. E. 1. He was a member of the no an Catholic church. the Holy Name Society and the Moose Lodge. Funeral services were held on Friday. November am. at the Visitation, Church in Des Moines. with burial in Glendale Cemetery there. A rosary service was held the previous day. Surviving are his widow. Mary; a daughter, Angela. 12; his father, Hugh L. of Des Moines: a brother. William L. of Des Mcines; and four sisters. all of Des Moines. Mrs. Mary Lehman. Mrs. Helen Flan- nery. Mrs. Florence Oldfield and Beatrice Mclnnis. Relatives on the Island include William Mclnnls, 294 Eusion St., Charlottetown. and Mrs. Owen 'McGarry. southport. uncle and aunt of the deceased. Viola Parsons, daugh- ter oi Mr. and Mrs. Byron L. Par- sons, '19 Ashland Street, Maiden. Mass, and granddaughter of Mrs John W. MacLean of Charlotte- town, was united in marriage to Robert Bernard Smith. son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. smith of Sang- us, Mass, at the First Church. Congregational. The Rev. Roy L Minch officiated at the double- ring candlelight service. Given in marriage by her father. the bride wore a full skirted gown of slipper satin. with lace trimmed bodice, long pointed sleeves and lace panels in the centre of the skirt.' Her cathedral length train featured a. centre panel of lace. and her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a halo cap trimmed with orange blossoms. She carried a trailing bouquet of staphanotis trimmed with greens. Mrs. Allen J. Fleming of Saint John. N. B.. was her sister's mat- ion of honour. Her peacock blue gown was fashioned with a satin bodice trimmed with nylon at the neckline, and her tulle skirt was caught at the waist with a velvet rose which dropped its petals to the hemline of the skirt. The gown had a satin bolero with a stand- up collar and her glamelia head- piece matched her horseshoe bou- quet. The bridesmaids. who wore aim- llar gowns of lilac hue. were T. Leona Parsons. sister of the bride, Demetzra Maluys of Maiden, Ther- esa smith of Saugus, sister of the groom. and Virginia Cameron of Maiden. Four year old Alana Lee Flem- ing was her aunt's flower girl. Her aqua gown had I satin bodice and long tulle skirt, and she wore a glamelia headpiece and carried a basket of rose petals. Little George Hedley Foliand,four year old cous- in of the bride, was the ring bear- er and was dressed in a formal suit. He carried the wedding rings on a lace trimmed satin pillow. Connie Mirageas of Brookline served as best man and ushers included Richard and James Smith of Saugus. brothers of the groom, Frank Kushy of -Worcester. and Robert Steadmnn of Medford. Over 150 guests attended the re- ception which was held at the VFW Hall, where the parents of the newly-weds assisted in the re- ceiving line. Mrs. Parsons' baller- ina length blue nylon gown was set off with dusty rose accessories and a rose corsage, The mother for the groom wore a purple gown ;trimmed with velvet and rhine- stones. with a glamelia coi-sage. Mrs. George Folland of Meirose, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book. The bride is a graduate of Mel- den High and Maiden Business School. She is employed in the office of the City Clerk. and is a member of the Congregational Church and the Massichusetts ski Club. i The groom. is a graduate of Saugus High and served for four 'ycars with the U. S. Marine Corps, ;spending 16 months overseas in ,Europe and Korea. He is a holder to! the Purple Heart and Cluster. awarded him when he was twice wounded in battle. He is employed with the Highland Contracting Company. After a motor trip to New York and Washington.
