‘ If elected the primary thing that I would like to see occur would be that the Student Union utilize their funds to hhe utmost. I feel that the Student Union should not be trying to make a profit but rather simply break even and pro— _ vide the students with the highest degree of events both in terms of quality and quantity. As far as running for Treasurer, I feel that my past experience in Student Union would be an asset. In addition, I am a bus— ’ iness student, so I feel that knowledge of finance which I have would be gelp- ful. Being a close personal friend of Mickey Place, the Student Union's Business Manager, would also allow me to work very effectively in the Finance area, in order to finally provid. the students with their “money's worth". ti’and/da fe: -tNext year as a Senate Rep. 3 will be there to protect zhe rights of the students, particularly in the area of censorship. This is an area that troubles me greatly because I feel that censor— :nip is a violation of a person's rights. I would be an asset to the Student's Council be- cause I want to become in— volved in the University and an willing to work hard at it. ‘ DaveJackson . hm ‘3 ' > , . -....mu M. in: «ma " H "-Wrmt‘kfii «if? man 5 must ‘0 'Ca Ivi'nMocM iHan ‘If elected I hope to try and get more students inv—- olved in the activities of the university.
