Each student has the right to vote in electing the required nunber‘of representatives in their faculty. The UPEI SUN (Student Union Newspaper) is sit- uated on the 4th floor in Main Building. It 18 a weekly 16—20 page paper and is available on campus ‘ every 'lhursday afternoon. Reporters, typist, writers, and photographers are always needed. It's a great way to become in- volved and is a lot of fun. Watch for the first general meeting and for heavens sake come! PIG & WHISTLE . ComeondovmtothenewBarnandgetondovm to the Pig and Whistle every 'Ihursday night! . Or if you want to just sit and watch; Student Union sponsers the Pigs with a live band every week. It serves a great break from classes and thats where your sure to meet the people you haven't seen for a while. RADIO CID/N Radio CIMN, 700 on the AM dial, and on Channel 12 of the Island Cablevision system, is owned by the Student Union. The station broadcasts 18 hours a day. It offers music, sports, weather, and now thth the newly installed B-N mews machine, news from all over the world. There are many areas in which to become involved, from the technical to the live coverage. The station depends on you to keep it operating. UPEI (IDFE'EE SHOP , I don't think anything has gone over better during the 1977-78 year at UPEI then the coffee shops. 'Ihey were started warily as people seem to have the usual stereo-typed picture of coffee shops in their head. 'lhis soon changed as the number who attended grew each week. 'Ihere are different musicians each week or simply soneone who just wants to tell a funny story.
