Prince Philip Parkway had been blocked since Friday night, shortly after a 20 year old student was struck and killed at a crosswalk by'a dump truck. have been demanding over- head passes for five years. Until this action is taken; the speed limit in the university area wiil be reduced and strictly in- 'forced by police. " *l - The 7,000 Bank Overdraft is basically what it costs the S.U. to operate in the off—‘ season e.g. salaries of staff - repairs. *2 - Any clubs or societies who sponsor pubs receive 22-1/2% of all bar sales. *3 — This C.S.P. is a fund set up so future unions will have money available for capital expenditures i.e. perhaps a new S.U. Centre. Future S.U. will contribute $8,000 yearly to this plan over the next 7-8 years. A three member investment cannittee has been appointed to monitor this year's investnent.
