--DEATH OF Ml.. GORDON
RAMSAY-The death occurred at his
home in Mount Pleasant last Friday
night of Mr. Gordon Ramsay, at the
age of 63 years. Mr. Ramsay had
suffered a paralytic stroke about six
months ago and had been in failing
health since that time. He took
another stroke a few days ago, which
caused his death. The decellcd was
‘born at Tyne Valley, the son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ramsay.
For many years and up to-the time
ni’ his death, he was s successful far-
mer at Mount Pleasant and enloyed
fthe esteem of a very l_a.l-ge circle of
friends and acquaintances. His
cheery word and genial smile will be
missed not only by his _loved ones at
‘ home. but by all who had the pleas-
ure cf his acquaintance. There an
loft. to mourn, besides his sorrowinl
widow, formerly Miss Somers. of
Froetown. two sons and two daugh-
ters. namely. Bayfield. M11. Gordon
