D., Surrogate, Judge of“ Probate, &c., &c., &c., l-IEREAS upon reading the petition of William Mcltae, Administrator of the said Estate. now on file, setting forth that the personal estate was insufficient to pay off the debts due by the said estate. and praying that license may be granted to him to sell the Real Es- tate of the said deceased, for the payment of the said debts; and also upon reading a certified copy of the In- ventory of the Real and Personal Property of the said deceased, also on file, and annexed to the said petition: Now, therefore, I do order, that the parties interested in the said estate, do appear before me, in the Court House of the Colonial Building, in Charlottetown, in the said Island, on Tuesday, the Fourth day of February next, ensuing the date hereof, at noon of the same day, to show cause, if any they can, why the prayer of the said petition should not be granted; and I do further order that a true copy of this order be published in the Royal Gazette newspaper of the said Island, for at least six consecutive Weeks from the date hereof, so that all parties interested in the said estate may have. due notice thereof. IS Excellency the Lieutenant Governor in Council was this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the amount of the invoice of Dutiable Goods, imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in es- timating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of this Island, as follows :— In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dol- lars and cents of the paper currency of the United States, the amount of such Invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of POUR SIIILLINGS AND SIX—PENCIL and in the like proportion for any fraction of a Dollar, of which all Collectors of Impost are to take notice and govern them- selves accordingly.
