     Open House at the University will be held onl 
     
     October 22 and 23 during which time some 2000 
     
     persons are expected to visit the campus. High 
     
     School students from all island High Schools will be 
     
     on campus as well as students from other Maritime 
     
     High Schools. In addition, school teachers, admin- 
     
     istrators and the general public are invited to attend 
     
     the many and varied displays, demonstrations, 
     
     exhibits, discussions and sports activities planned 
     
     for the two-day period. lan MacDonald, Director of 
     
     Extension and Chairman of this year’s Open House 
     
     Committee, estimates that there will be 25-30 
     
     different stations throughout the campus buildings 
     
     presenting displays, exhibits and other interesting

     1971-72, the students at this University have

     University of Prince Edward Island. _ _ 
     
     To date, on several occasions large and small sums 
     
    
   
   
    
     ‘ of money have been turned in to the Security 
     
    
   
   
    
     Office, which handles the Official Lost and Found 
     
     Department for the University. 
     
    

    
     In one instance, a student turned in a sum of 
     
     $256. which he found on campus. This is not an- 
     
     isolated instance. A short time ago, a professor at 
     
     the University lost his wallet containing. valuable 
     
     papers and a sum of money. His wallet was turned in 
     
     to the Lost andiFound Department, and he was able 
     
     to retrieve it the following day. 
     
    

    
     The Director of Security went on to comment 
     
    
   
   
    
     that, ‘ln these days when young people are so ' 
     
    
   
   
    
     subject to 'criticism, it is heart-warming to. know 
     
     there is still honesty and character within the 
     
     student body.’ -
