The fans would definitely not be disappointed on this evening. Something was in the air. That some- thing was the fine aeronautical display put on by four members of the FYP. Dale Tingley, Rick Miilard, Dico Reyers and Finley Martin all rose to the occasion as they defied the laws of gravity, slamming down dunks like cold beer at a movie pub. Mr. Hands refused to comment on the whole display, but acting team spokesman Dave Chris- tian was quoted as saying “never in my life have I seen such a wonderful display of athleticism. This is the dawn of a new day in FYP history!” Coincidentally, FYP did win the game in a 56 to 51 defeat of Da Ladies. The Five Year Plan’s record now stands at three wins and one loss. In other FYP news, rebounding guru Krishna Singh is reported to be seeing a psychiatrist. Although FYP management refuses to comment, on source not wanting to be identified, says that Mr. Singh is having trouble adjusting to the new found success and popularity of the team. Re- gardless of possible troubles off court, Krishna Singh is still putting up impressive numbers of- fensively and defensively. Finally, rumours are circulating that FYP member Geoff Smith is jealous and angry at the lack of fanmail he is receiving in comparison with other FYP members, especially teammate Pat Perry. In order to solve this problem, please send fanmail to fanmail@peionline.com and address itto Mr. Smith. The Five Year Plan would greatly appreciate it. A very special thanks goes out to Tammi Jo and Lori who have been the backbone of FYP fan support and who have helped the team through some difficult transitions.
