Dear Editor, 
     
    

    
     Here it is the second 
     
     week of March. As the 
     
     semester's end approaches 
     
     it has become painfully 
     
     obvious that some people's 
     
     efforts towards their work 
     
     have dwindled to the point 
     
     of being a disgrace. 
     
    

    
     I speak, in particular, 
     
     of some members of the 
     
     Student Union executive. 
     
     It is our opinion that 
     
     these members think they 
     
     have their money made and 
     
     are no longer required to 
     
     do a quality job for the 
     
     students. Incidents and 
     
     expressed attitudes have 
     
     shown us all that theses 
     
     members are unofficially 
     
     finished with serving the 
     
     students of U.P.E.I. 
     
    

    
     The issue that provoked 
     
     this letter is this. The 
     
     U.P.E.I. Engineering Soc- 
     
     iety had arranged for two 
     
     pub dates at the Barn for 
     
     fund raising purposes. 
     
    

    
     The V.P. Internal put both 
     
     these dates on the calen- 
     
     dar. After a liberal am- © 
     
     mount of liquid paper and 
     
     eraser, these dates were 
     
    
   
   
    
       
     
    
   
   
    
     taken away from the soci= 
     
     ety and one new one was 
     
     put on the books to rep- 
     
     lace it. This new time 
     
     was sandwiched between two 
     
     other big pub nights. The 
     
     soviet, I mean the Stud- 
     
     ent Union simply took the 
     
     societies name off and put 
     
     two others in its place. 
     
     This type of behavior has 
     
     occurredto other student 
     
     organizations as well. 
     
     Apparently the word of 
     
     the Student Executive men- 
     
     bers in question really 
     
     "ain't worth a pinch a 
     
     coon". Thanks alot boys. 
     
     Perhaps as the 83-84 
     
     Student Union Executive 
     
     begin to think about 
     
     their upcoming term they 
     
     might consider this re- 
     
     flection. If you are not 
     
    
   
   
    
     sure if you can make a 
     
     full commitment to the 
     
     students then you should 
     
     not be in the office. 
     
     Let's hope we all get 
     
     better representation this
