     The Trumpeter of

     back._He has a new band 
     
     A and a new sound. I just 
     
     wish I could state that 
     
     the change was for the 
     
     good, but it wasn't. 
     
     Most of the album 
     
     sounds the same, pseudoe 
     
     Jazz fusion mixed with 
     
     Disco rhythm. The cut. 
     
     . Rise" is an example 
     
     of this. It goes on and 
     
     on. "Aranjuez"_the final 
     
     cm;meel%tsflk1ms 
     
     some variety from the 
     
     pounding Bass in the 
     
     background. The use of 
     
    
   
   
    
     NonfEuropeon instruments, 
     
     the Balalaika and Lyricon 
     
    
   
   
    
     is quite refreshing, 
     
     proof that the album 
     
     wasn't planned entirely 
     
     mindlessly. 
     
    
   
   
    
     All things considered, 
     
    
   
   
    
     I would recommend the 
     
     record to “one who 
     
     enjoys Chuck Mangione. 
     
     Its not Mangione by a 
     
     long—shot, its Herb ’ 
     
     Alpert, a weak Herb 
     
    
   
   
    
     Alpert at that, so 
     
     you'll have to accept

     the charts. A Group you 
     
     should be hearing more
