SET BY KINSMEN Kinsmanship has I (ive-fold objective in order to pr-om-ote and direct fellowship among young men of good character in Can- ada. These five points are: 1. ’llh-at they may be imIp;\ov- ed and educated in modern bus- iness and professional methods _ and ethics. « 2. That the interest at each in the welfare of his commrunity may be stimulated. 3. That constitutional authority may be upheld. 4. That a spirit or cooperation, tolerance, understanding a nd equality between all nations and all peoples be fostered and stimu- lated and that unity of thought and purpose throughout Canada be established towards this goal. 5. That they shall carry on ser- vice wank within their commun- ity. Scores Of Kids Enjoy Kin Fete On Hallowe'en Hobgobllns glare, weird figures and figurines glide in moonlight, masks glow or glower, and the ’modern world fades into fantasy » for hundreds of kids, guests at the Armouries of the Charlotte- town Kinsmen Club. , Designed primarily to help make for a quieter Hallowe'en and a more pea-cefrul, less dam- iaged city, the annual Kinsman‘ ' party has rapidly become one of the outstanding events of the 1 year for children here. The huge Armouries loses its spa-ciou-sness under the crowd- ing ivnpact ot the hundreds of youthfiui bodies which jam the vast floor surface of the par- ade square. They are there for a good time and the Kinsmen certainly see that they get it. Movies and treats, stage enter- tainment and prizes, all make the night a memorable one for the kids of all ages who attend. The result is far less mischie- vousness than in -former years, far less wanton damage to pro- ; perty and a general orderliness that prevails even beyond the confines of the Anmouries as the into teenage Hallowe'en activi- ties in later years. ._ It is just another of the Kins- men Club projects tor commun- ity lbetterrment with the club bear- ing all the exzpenses.
