A special meeti-:ig of City Council
was held last night at which
Coun. Whear submitted report of C. R.
Colpit-t,[City electrician of Halifax. The
report showed condition of plant. After
reading it he moved a resolution authoris-
ing a committee to make arrangements for
leasing the plant and tc submit such for
approval at a regular meeting of Council.
After discussion Dr. Kelly moved an

by Yale, which is preparing to celebrate
its 210th anniversary next October. Presi-

had laid plans for new buildings

quet of the Yale alumni he rec.-ived word
that the last contribution needed to com-
plete this elaborate enterprise had been
received. This means that the university

auditorium which, with the dining-hall

expected before October to be increased so-
