A. L. Fraser now in charge of a Presbyterian church at Little River, Ontario. -Mr. Fraser is a Nova Scotian. a Plctou county man, a graduate of both Dal- housie University and of the Pres- hytcrlan College, Pine Hill. The meeting was a _lmost harmonious one. TH|E ARANMORE.-The Marine department has 'ordered Captain Macdonald, of the D. G. S. Aran- inore, to abandon the Yarmouth- iioston route and with his ship re- port to the Halifax agency to take up her former .work in the light house and buoy service. Yarmouth business interests made a kick ag- ainst the withdrawal of the boat but the decision of the department i-s final. The department finds imperat- ative requirements for lighthouse service demand the use of the Aran- -more. The service has been so far neglected on account of the divers ion of the boat, that no further d‘e- lay in restoring her to lighthouse and buoy work can safely be made. Conditions at present are such, that it is obviously impossible for -the Arnnmore to maintain a regular ser- vice between Yarmouth and Boston. A full freight had been* put _aboard the steamer and this is now being discharged says the Halifax Herald. -_,__ Keep Mlnl.ro'o Llnlmsnt In the house _ T€ll-aIplione-- Telephone your orders and Booksand Stationery A,-ND NOW will buy you at pa ir of LADIES HIGH CUT BOOTS wnlri-2 canvas Rubber Soie_an`d Heel These are nice comfort- able SUMMER' WEAR and this is the tirge of year to have them an wear them.
