CALL FOR OTHER CRITICAL ISSUES & COMMENTS - A NEW FOREST POLICY: Forests impact both our quality of life and economy. The forest policy consultations now underway will lead our forest management programs for many years to come. If you feel a critical issue was missed or wish to have your say, please provide your comments (see first item in the Environmental Calendar). So far, the critical issues identified are: public land; forests on unploughed lands, quality of life, education and training, plantations and planting, and forest products. 18
