They belly—ached so mdch about one of our wins, played in adverse weather, we canft help wo— nder if they can accept a SMU win that came under even worse conditions. Final football note -—- "Well, anyhow,,in league play, we are the only team that beat the only team that beat the national champions!" HOCKEY — We'll still be up there 9 we lost a couple of games We‘could have‘won with a little good fortune. You saw how close the SMU game was and the X game was a heartbreaker. We'd like to add th— at we often hear of winning players being credited wi— th "GUTS". Our humble opi— nion is that a team hope-U lessly behind at the half, that can come out on the floor and play as though it was in a tie game, is the group that is really exhibiting "guts". For those disturbed by our Env' glish, please delete guts and insert "Intestinal Fortitude".
