March 25, 1997 The Panther Prints NOTICES NOTICES NOTICES CLASSIFIEDS CLASSIFIEDS Take Control of Your Health On the UPEI Campus we are past the break and heading toward the end of the Winter term 1997. The sun is heating down more strongly, we wake up to light in early morning and we go home for supper with a short time for an evening ski or jog in daylight. Alas, our schedules are filled with papers to complete and presentations to make! Final exams loom in our conciousness! On top of that the bank account is dwindling, and we wonder how we are going to make it to the end of term. With the University population in mind, the Health Fair planning committee has set April 2 and 3 as the date for the annual Health Fair-this year titled “It’s YOUR Health-Take Control!” Displays at this year’s fair will reflect themes of stress, healthy lifestyle for students, nutrition, housing and vegetarianism among others. Visitors to the fair will be treated to snacks of yogurt or fruit and be eligible for draws on the many door prizes contributed by businesses in our community. TO date, these prizes include free tutition for a three hour course on campus; a $30 gift certificate from the UPEI Bookstore and a free fitness assessment at the Sports Centre. In addition, gift certificates for meals, hair cuts and items such as t-shirts will be drawn for as prizes. So-come out and visit us on April 2 and 3 in the Sports Centre and we will show you how to take better control of YOUR Health!
