HELLO EVERYONE ! HOW ARE YOU DOING FINANCIALLY ?

Well it is Treena again and I’m here to see how you are all doing financially. I know it is pretty tough (because I live it) but there is some help through bursaries and scholarships. Now I know not all of you qualify for the awards that are available at present but remember to always keep your eyes open for 1993/94 awards. Here are a couple of awards available at present (keep

coming in to look for yourself).

GEORGE & NORA ELWIN SCHOLARSHIP -arts, sciences, business, engineering, nursing and physical plant -first-class standings - top 5% of their class - five scholarships of $1000.00 -deadline March 31

THE J. PETER DES ROCHES SCHOLARSHIP -mature or part time students -2nd year of study, involved in community service -$500.00 -deadline April 30

THE HELEN HERRING SCHOLARSHIP -home economics -$500.00 -deadline April 30

THE PLANETARY SOCIETY -engineering and sciences -five awards of $1000.00 -deadline April 15
