Although it’s a sport that has many more people participat- ing than any other sport, bowl- ing is the least publicized sport of all. One team, in’ Eastern Kings, namely, the Lucky Six, an entry in the Souris Women’s Bowling League have a record, that, we believe, is unequalled in the entire world of bowling. They have won the champion- ship in the Souris Women’s Bowling League since that lea- gue started in 1951. All in all they’ve won a total of seven titles.

Last year, they did not have an entry in the league, and as a result, last year was the only year they did not win the title. Members of the team that won this year are: Theresa Paquet, Ceclia Walsh, Helen Paquet, Mary Paquet, Alice MacDon- ald, and captain Joyce MacLel- lan. Other team members in the past were: Joyce Gallant, Er- ma MacDonald and Isobel Po- wer.
