The bride was given in snar- riage by her father. Ker floor length gown en train. was fashion- ed with a fitted bodies of white brocsded satin extending into a pepltnn over the net bouffant skirt. Her linger-tip veil of tulle il- lusion fell from acloehs of brocaded satin edged with orange blossoms. She carried a cascade bouquet of white gladioli blossoms and chry- santhesnums. -

Miss Connie Ryan was maid of honor for her sister. she wore a gown of gold moire taffeta. with matching mitts and headdress. and carried a cascade bouquet of mauve and yellow gladioli blos- soms. The flower girl was little Miss Anne Kearney. niece of the groom. She wore a full-length gown of mauve swiss organdy over taffeta with matching mitts and a wreath of flowers for her head- dress. She carried a. basket of sweetheart roses.

Mr. Patrick Kearney was groomeman for his brother-in-law and Mr. Marcel Godln ushered.

The bride's mother wore a two piece dress of navy blue crepe with matching accessories and a spray of red roses at the oorsage.

The reception was held at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs. Marcel Godin. Argyle Avc., Ver- dun. where snapdragon and glad- ioii were used to decorate the bridal table.

Later Mr. and. Mrs. Young left by plane for it honeymoon trip to New York .the bridetravelling in an ensemble of beige English wool with brown BCCESGOYIHS and a cor- sage of yellow roses.

On return they will reside in sudbury. Ontario. where Mr. Young is employed with the c.P.R. police force. -t

The Women's Missionary society of the Baptist Church. Clyde Riv- er held a thartkofferlng service on Sunday evening. October lath. The President, Mfrs. Daniel MacNeill. presided. Mrs. Allan Macloan read the Scripture. Mrs. Hubert Matheson sang "A Prayer of Th n'.csgiving." and Lloyd Mac- Phlii offered prayer.

The guest speaker was Mrs. J. F. Easion who gave a very in- structive and stirring address based on the words "Thy King- dom Come."

The Cornwall trio. consisting qf Messrs. Mac'Millan. Boyle and Miller, enriched the service with their selections. The accompanists for the evening were Mrs. I-leber Mac!”-'hail and Mrs. Gordon Mac- Millan.

Following the service the trio and Mrs. Easton were guests of the Women's Missionary society at the home of Mrs. C. D. MacLean and Mrs. W. A. MaceLs.n.
