...SO Sang Mr. Dress-up. I think some Sesame Street people in your neighborhood have sung this as well. What is she talking about? Well, please bear with me for just one second.

I was reading in another campus newspaper an editorial titled "Why do you keep writing us?". I think the poor, dedicated editorial staff was getting a little fed up with the amount of complainers who were Ccritisizing their work, and at the same time, doing nothing to help out with the publication process. Well, I’m happy to say that the letters to this publication have been, for the most part, great, and student involvement with the paper’s also pretty good, although we never have too many volunteers. (If you have too much time, please come down and visit me at my office, and I’ll fix you up.)

What I’m trying to say, is that I WANT you to write us! This is where Mr. Dress-up’s song comes in, see. | know there are a lot of people out there who have something to get off his or her chest, so I want you to clap your hands and stomp your feet. Believe me, it can be very therapeutic to take out your aggravations on pen and paper. Just to get you started, here’s a list of SUGGESTED topics: (Please

note that these items may not necessarily tick me .

off, but I know that there are people out there who have something to say, positive or negative, on the following items.)

-Noise in the library, or more like, people making noise whilst you are trying to inhale twelve chapters of text

-People tying up the computers playing games when the computer lab is packed

-Tuition fees/Student loans

-Cafeteria food

-Residence life

-Parking

-Cars splashing you, if you’re a pedestrian -Pedestrians jay-walking, if you’re a driver -Smokers, if you’re a non

-Non, if you’re a smoker

-Gender discrimination (either sex) -Discrimination of any type

-Not having Remembrance Day off

-What you’re doing over the Canada Games break, besides looking for shelter (if you’re a residence student) :

-Your exam schedule

-Professors, perhaps you’ve got one who’s a super- motivator

-Outside our sheltered university unemployment, the GST, the Gulf Crisis

There are many, many more ideas. As editor, I have the wonderful privilege of filling this space with my mindless babble, but this privilege extends to you readers as well. Please keep in mind our submissions policy on page 2, which requires all letters to be signed, although it doesn’t necessarily have to be printed. (By the way, "Concerned Male’, I still have your letter, please tell me who you are, so I can print it.)
