MEETINGS are held on the first Tuesday of the month (except June, July, August and September) at 8:00 p.m. at the Farm Centre on University Ave- nue, Charlottetown. Members and non-members are welcome.

Connie Gaudet's drawing of a Blue Jay on a branch of a maple tree graces the cover of the recently published Island Wings - A colouring book of Prince Edward Island birds, and this issue of the Island Naturalist. See story on page 9 for more information on the colouring book. Connie Gaudet is a naturalist, biologist and artist from P.E.I. now living in Ottawa. She has illustrated other Island publications, most notably Watershed 33g, published by Ragweed Press.
