Mr. Palmer is the proprietor of he “Kensington Dairy and he has adopted the Copenhagen system.” Farming re marks that “Mr. Palmer was boro in- Prince Edward Island in 1869. He isa graduste of the Ontario Agricultural College, having taken the full three years’ course there, and received the degree of B.S. A. Helas always been an en- thusiastic dairy student. For some time he was a student under Professor Henry and Dr. Babeok at the Wisconsin Dairy School. LIBERAL AGAIN,

Sin,—The Patriot has very fairly anewered my enquiries 4s contained in your issue of Monday last,and I have little more.o say except to explain that my reason for writing was that a very strong feeling exists among the Liberals of this city in regard to the appointment of the engineer of the Petrel as well as several others recently made. I cannot, however, accept the Patriot’s statement that if any one from this island or the other province 8 had applied a stranger, such as Mr. Dunn, would not have secured the positior,—be- cause it is notoriously known that a young Islander, well qulified, was an applicant for the position, and since he did not receive it has hadto seek employment vnder the Stars and Stripes. He was a Liberal end voted at the Jast election for Hon. Mr. Davies, but will not likely be bere to do so again. Kven from the Patriot’s explana- tion there appears to be some grounds for the rumor afloat that Mr. Dunn was here on a certain pereou’s hands who either had to get him work or pay Lim damages for not employing him.
