EXECUTIVE MEETING - At a recent meeting of the Provincial Executive held in the Institute Rooms matters connected with the F.W.I.C. were brought up for eon- sideration. Mrs. ‘Fred Macmren, Convenor of Education, was ap- pointed to represent the Provincial organization and Mrs. Harrison MacFarlanc was appointed alter- native delegatc to the Biennial Convention to be held in Toronto in November. Regret was express- ed at the resignation from the board of Mrs. W. J, Reid, Convenor of Legislature. A letter froi; the Children's Aid Society received the consideration of the meeting as did also several suggestions for the annual convention to be held in July.

Flrom a brief survey of sum- maries of races in which horses sired by stallions owned in P. E. Island over the period from 1912- to i920, I find that the leading sire was Commodore Liedyard, his colts having participated in two hundred and twenty races in the Maritimca and were consistant winners in the majority of their races.

The three Commodore's winning the most money, were that old favorite Hilda 8.. owned by Mr Alfred A. Stewart, Cross Roads. il-fildas dam being Lady Hilda 2.29 a daughter of All Right and Libatha, better know ,as Lib, own. ed by our genial horseman F. D.
