Opposition Leader Drew said a study of the question by a select committee or royal commission would allow members to be fully informed regarding the proper amount and alternative method: of cabinet pay.

Mr. Abbott. a lawyer, said he thinks he has been underpaid since he entered the cabinet in 1045.
