meeting of the Catholic Women's League since June was held Summerside in the K. of C. Home on Wednesday, September 3rd. The president. Miss Margaret Wedge was in the chair. The meet- ing opened with the League prayer. The minutes of the last meeting and also the treasurers report were read and approved. The con- vener for social service. reported that milk was bein supplied daily to undernourished children. The convener for Girl Guides in her report said that efforts were be- ing made to secure a hall for their meetings. At this meeting the prizes for catechism for the boys were donated, and final arrange- ments were riade for the success- iul completion of the annual col- icction started this week. The dele- gate to the diocesan convention, Mrs. W. J. Sullivan then gave her report of the work accomplished at this convention. A social hour fol- lowed and a delicious lunch was served by the hostesses. Mrs. Elmer Pineau. Mrs. Ted Perry and Miss Margaret Wedge-S.
