Alberton cw Another Rum
The regular monthly meeting of Alberton Parish Council of he CWL was held recently in the Church Assembly Hall with twelve members present. Rev. Gerald Steele opened and clos- ed themeeting with prayer and Mrs. Ra'y Foley presided. Plans were made for a treat for the first communicants. Mrs. Foley gave a report of the annual diocesan convention to which she had been a dele-
ate.
It was decided to hold anoth- er rummage sale. Mrs. Foley. Mrs. Brydon Smith and Mrs. James Bradenin t be in charge.
A donation of $25 will be made to the scholarship fund and a contribution of $100 will be made toward redecoratlon of the parochial house.
Each member was asked to make a contribution of 25 cents to the Mother House of the 0r- der of St. Martha.
It was decided that the gothlc vestment be dedicated to the
memory of Rev. Phelan Mc- Kenna and that a plaque indi- cating this be placed on the
vestment case.
Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Foley were named to the visiting com- mittee for the month of July.
