year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways." and of the Acts m nmendment thereof, whereby we are commanded to enquire what damage 0‘ advantage will accrue to those persons who are interested in the lands through which a certain new road is intended to be made : Commencng at McAleer’s Road, on the east side of the Township boundary be- tween Lots 36 and 37, and running along the said east side of said boundary. to the Fort Augustus Road; also

from Clark’s Bridge nnd along John McKinnou’s south'

boundary line to the new road to I’isquid new Bridge, and from the east side of said Bridge to Joy’s. Now we do hereby give Public Notice, to all parties, that we will commence the execution of said writ. by attending atthe commencement of the said intended new road. on the 24th day ot'Junc next, at the. hour of ten o’clock, in the forenoon, and from thence will proceed along the said intended new line of road and complete the inquest according to low.
