These Parkdaie Guides have made wonderful progress, they have grown and grown until they now have a membership of 27. Monday. March 1, was a busy night when 28 Guides fell in for inspection by Capt. Mrs. C. Pickard and Lleui. Catherine Waters. Commissioner Suzanne Macxinnon and Field Sec'y Mrs. Smith were prment and Miss MacKirinon presented the following badges: Child Nurse Carol Hogan: Needle Woman Mar- lene Gregory; Laundress Carol Hogan, Brenda McKay, Virginia Carver. Penny Warren, Gwen Ol- Brien, Barbara Mr.-Gregor; Home- maker. Arlene Gregory; and last but not least Little House Emblem. Marlene Gregory. After a lively game and sing-song the meeting closed with taps.

Brown Owl Mrs. Ma.cKay called a special meet- ing and Brown Owl Lois Brown presented Linda Warren, Mable Godkin and Jean Found with their House Orderly badges. and Trudy I-Iicksrm. Kniiters Badge. and tour new-Brownies were enrolled. Joan Bevin. Dorothy Mcljwen. Sandra Johnston and Brenda Mutiow.

Tweiity-eight Guides under Capt. J0.VCe Wiggington and Lleut, Gladys McKimion and l'l'Bi-ownies with Brown Owl. Mrs. Reid met at Trinity on Tuesday night. Pro- vincial Cnmmissioner Mrs. Hut- cheson. Dist. Com. Suzanne Mc- Kinnon and Field Sec'y Mrs. smith were present to join in the flying up ceremony of Brownie Elaine Walker to Guides, and Commission- er Sue Mcxinnnn enrolled Gloria Macxinnon. Eileen Norrie and Ann Smith as Guides. A program of skins and sciich dancing was their enjoyed aiter which all gathered round the Campfire for songs, The meeting closed with ”Taps."

Araanault, Com- missioner for Queens County Needlewoman and Thrift Badges were also presented to Margaret MacMillan, as well as s. Knitter's Badge lo Judy Johnston. These Brownies are very keen and are fortunate in having the fine new Community Hall at Central Roy- alty in which to meet. Mrs. Mac- Leod. mother of one of the new enrolled Brownies. treated the Brownies to home-made fudge which was thoroughly enjoyed. Mrs. Ira Younker is the Brown Owl and Mrs. Arthur Rodd. the Tawny Owl oi this enthusiastic Brownie pack.

After an interesting Golden Bar ceremony. Golden Bars were pre- sented by Commissioner Suzanne MacKinnon to the following Brow- nies; Vickie MacNevin, Sylvia Phil- lips. Janet MacDonald. Wendy MacDonald. Dorothy Burke ind Virginia MacNutt.

The Collectors Badge was pre- sented to: Carol Jenson and Wood- worker, Sigiialler and Observer Badges to Gail Stewart.

A Grand Howl was then given in honnr of the Brownies who had merited Golden Bars and Badges after which all the Brownies en- tered with enthusiasm into two Singing Games.

The Brownies were then quietly seated and Brownie Heather Mac- Nevin welcomed the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Brown to the Brownie meet- ing and hoped that they would be frequent visitors. The following Prayer service was then carried out with Brownie Heather Mac- Nevin as leader:
