Treasurer‘s Office. Prince Edward Island. Charlottetown, 3rd September, 1867. EN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this Island, mado - and passed in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of Iler Majesty Queen Victoria, intitulcd “ An Act to consolidate and amend the seve- rul Latvs imposing an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony, and for the encouragement of Education,” and also of an Act made and passed in the thirtieth year of the same reign, intituied “An Act to amend the Act relating to Land Assessment,” I do hereby publicly notify the owners or occupiers of Land in this Island, for which the annual Assessment or Assessments charged thereon by the said recited Acts, or some one or more of them, of nine shillings and two pence, lawful money of this Island, for every hundred acres of willerness or unim- proved Lands Contained in the several Township: and the Islands be- longing thereto; and the sum of six shillings and eight pence, of like money, for every hundred acres of cultivated or improved Lands in the said several Townships and Islands as aforesaid; and at the rate of nine shillings and two pence, of like money, per hundred acres for wil- derness or unimproved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown; and at the rate of six shillings and eight pence, of like money, per hundred acres for culliviitcd or improved Town Let! and Posture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown as aforesaid, and at the rate of two shillings and six pence, of like money, for each and every Lot in Charlottetown formerly occupied as the Barrack Square, in propirtion to area, on the same footing and to the some ex- tent as Town Lots in Charlottetown; and the sum of four shillings, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Town Lot, Common L t and Water Lot granted in the Town and Common of Char- lottetowu; and the sum of six shillings, of like money, tor each and every uncultivated or unimprovod Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Char- lottetown; and the sum of four shillings, of like money, for each and every cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the Royalty; and the sum of two shillings and six pcnco, of like money, for each and every cul- tivated or improved Town Lot and Water Lot in the said Town; and the sum of two shillings, of like money, for each and every cultivated or improved Common Lot as aforesaid; and the sum of two shillings and eight pence, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unim- provod Town Lot‘und Water Lot in the Town of Georgetown; and the sum of one shilling and four pence, of like money, for each and every cultivated and improved Town Lot and Water Lot in the lust mentioned Town; and the sum of three shillings and four pence, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Georgetown; and the sum of two shillings, of like money. for each and every cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the last men- tioned Royalty; and the sum of two pence, of like money, for each and OVery acre of cultivated or improved Lord in the Royalty of George- towu, called Reserved Lands; and the sum of three pence, of like. money, for each and every note of such last mentioned Lands as may be deemed uncultivated or unimproved hauls; and so in proportion hr 3. less quantity,—-—is payable, that unless the Assessment or Assessments for the current year imposed by the said recited Acts, or some one or more of them, be paid into my hands or the hands of any of my deputies (as requirtd by law) on or b:fore the Tenth day of December next, I shall proceed against all such Lands as shall then be in arrcar for non.
