san priest. He was ‘83. He was born at Iona, P.E.D,., son of Owen and Mary McKettiha. He attended the local school grad- uated from §.D.U. and enrolled in St. Mary's. of The West. Se- minary in. 1908.
He completed his studies there and was ordained June 1910. He then returned to his home, par- ish, St. Michaels, at Jona, where

June 26th, 1910. On May | 30th, 1935 Monsignor McKenna cele- brated simultaneously the 25th jubilee of his ordinatiqn and his investiture as domestic Lager to late Pope Pius XI. In July of 1938 he was assigned to St. Pe- ter's Parish as pastor. St. Pe: ter’s later because the cathedral parish and at signer McKenna had been pas- tor for 28 years.
