The ceremonr, which was performed by the Rev. D>. Mullen, took place in Boston Cathedral, and was witressed by a few of the most ist mate friend+«f the contract- ing parties. The bride was elegantly a'— trred in a costume of Dresden siik, with trimmings of cheffon and ribbou. Miss Margaret Da'y was maid of honor, while ve H FP. MacLeod, the young snd popular Sor th End physician, attended to the wants of the groom.

In the evenirg a grand r-ception was held at No. 20 Dwight St., the future fresi- dence of the happy pair. Upwards of one hundred couples attended. Mes-rs. John Leithem and Frank Murphy acted in the capacity of ushers. The magorficent dresses of the ladies present coupled with the beautife] decorations of the different rooms presented a spectacle not soon to Le forgotten.

Toe popularity of the happy couple was altested by the number of custly presents which they received, almost every hou-e- holi necessity being found among their gitts.
