Hardy. la déclaration des minis- tres fédéraux que le gouverne- ment libéral d'Ontario était leur bras droit, enlève tout doute à cet égard. Le gouvernement d'Ottawa voulisit obtenir une nouveile approosation de sa poli- tique, et comptant sur le tri- omphe de M. Hardy, en retirer plus tard un argument puissant pour faire accepter par le parle- meut ses plus dangereuses me- sures comme celles du Yukon et du Drummond

Le verdict de Ja population d'Ontario donné, mardi dernier, est le coup de mort de ces deux projets.
