"All Carrs to the Rescue," which is the King's County entry in the Provincial Drama Festival, was en- joyed particularly and occasioned much favourable comment, its fast moving. hilarious action keeping the audience in gales of laughter.

The adjudicators for the Provin- cial Drama Festival, Messrs-J. A. Lawson and Bramweii Chancﬂer were in attendance and gave com- ments on the play that were very helpful to the cast.

Another number deserving o! special mention was the Highland Fling by Miss Jessie MacGowan. Her interpretation of this beauti- ful but difficult dance was highly prniseworthy.

After the programme e sale oi.’ cakes brought forth some spirited bidding.

An enjoyable dance brought the evening's entertainment to a close.

Excellent dance music was fur- nished by Misses Irene Bruce and Florence MacKinnon and Messrs. Archie Stewart and Lorne McKin- non.

Lt. Commander G. A. McPherson acted very capably as chairman.

A slight accident occurred on Saturday nighrt when a ton truck proceeding towards the city went into the ditch at the bottom 0f St. Andrew's hill, No one was injured and only slight damage was caus- ed.

The regular weekly dance was held in the Legion Hall on Thurs- day night a large crowd was in attendance and a good time was had by all. -Mt. Stewart.

A successful attempt made by Mt. Stewart Brothers was featur- ed in the Guardian on Friday. It tells the story o! the Douglas Bros, formertly o! Head of mils-borough. three miles from Mt.
