I have levied the said writ on the above recited Townships, for the several amounts due thereon; and I do hereby give notice that I will set up and Sell at public auction, at the Court Ilouse in George- town, on Saturday the 21st day of January, 1865, at 12 o’clock, noon, the above mentioned lands, or as much thereofas will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ against the same respectively, toge- ther with 165 8d., for the aforesaid writ, besides Sheriffs fees and all other incidental expenses. The proportion of deaths from all causes in Great Britain attrtbutcd to consumption, is one-third. If the reader choosc,he may be his own physician in guardino‘ against this malidy in himself or household. When the first susﬁ pieious arose that consumption is oeveloping itself, let the patient have the chest and back well fermented twlee a day with warm brine, dry with a coarse towel. then rub in the Ointment as salt is ruubcd into meat to preserve it, and the enemy will be bflflled.

‘ HEREAS it appears that divers persons in certain parts oft-his Island liavc associated, or lcagucd together,

for the purpose of counselling, aiding and assisting one

another in resisting the payment of certain Rents, which

they became legally bound to pay, as Tenants, on certain

Townships in this Island.

And whereas it has been brought to my notice that an Officer of the Law has recently been violently obstructed and prevented from discharging his duty by persons who have so combined as aforesaid. Now I have thought fit to issue this my Proclamation, varning all parties concerned in such unlawful combination that, in attempting to carry out such purpOses, they do oppose themseIVcs to Her Majesty and the Laws.

And I do command and enjoin all such persons immedi- ately to abstain from all such unlawful aSSociations.

And I do further command and enjoin all Magistrates, Sheriffs and other Ministers of the Law, and all Constables and Peace Officers, and all other loyal subjects of Her Majesty, to discourage, by every means in their power, such unlawful combination, and to give their prompt aid and assistance, when lawfully required, in opposing, preventing and resisting all persons, whomsoever, who shall take part in any such unlawful combination, and in arresting and bringing to justice any such persons offending, or having offended as aforesaid.

And I do further solemnly warn all persons that it is my duty to see that the Law shall take its course, and that I shalll cause it to be obeyed and respected throughout the Islam .

Given under my hand and the Great Seal of this Island, at Charlottetown, in the said Island, this Twenty-second day of March, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sisty-ﬁvc, and in the Twenty-eighth year of Her Majesty’s reign.

Y virtue of two several Writs of Statute Execution to me directed, issued out of .ller Majesty's Supreme Court of Judicature, at the suit of James Bourke, against Joseph Kellow, I have taken and seized as the property of the said Joseph Kellow. All his right, title, and freehold interest, in and to one-fourth of Town Lot No. 9. 2nd range letter F, in Georgetown fronting on the Western side of Kent Street 30 feet, and extending back 84 feet, a little more or less.with the building thereon erected; and I do hereby give Public Notice that I will on the 12th day of April 1567, at the Court flousc in Georgetown, at 12 o'clock, noon, set up and sell at Public Auction, the above recited property, or as much thereof as will satisfy the amount of levy marked on the two said several Writs, one Execution being for the sum of £80 8s. lid. with iniercst on £60, part thereof, from the limb day of March 1865, until paid. besides 16s. 8d. for said writ, Sheriff's fees and meidental expences; the other Execution for the sum of £31) 5s. 2d. wrth interest on £33, part thereof, from the 30th dav of March, 186:). until paid. besides 165. b'd. for writ, SherriPS fees, and incidental expcnccs.
