Each member o! the Junior Chambe of Commerce will con- tact each store in his I ' ’ area in a store-to-store canvass to inquire into the number of staff attending each showing of two films sponsored by the Chamber at the Prince Edward Theatre next week. This was decided upon at a meeting of the Chamber last even- ing, Arrangements for the showing of the films which are based upon the touril trade were made, The show. ings will be held next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30 A. M. The programme will be of one- half hour duration and the film and projectors will be supplied through the courtesy of the National Film Board. The theatre staff and time will be donated by l". G. Spencer Co. There will also be speakers at each session. They will introduce the film and stress the necessity of courtesy to tourists. ‘

Delegates enjoyed the musical sei- ections by Central Royalty Glee Club and Mr. Prank Maclntyre. In her report, Mrs. Herring noted the jollity and gaity of the Mani- toba. convention which was visited by 250 women from North Dakota. A feature was the demonstration on Home Economics with film strips. The attention of the wo- men of all provinces was drawn to the laws for women in each pro- vince. A current aim is to bring them more into lino with s gen- eral conception. At the Saskatoon Biennial of the . W. I. 0-. the conception of the Federated was changed, Fcnmer- it was considered a "clearing house" for ideas from the-provinces.
