The following resolution was moved by | Mr. Laird and unanimously adopted :

Resolved ,that every school district should hold a meeting to appoint a delegate or deleyaies to atiend a meeting to be held in Summerside, on Friday, the 28th inst, at 2 p.m.

After some further discussions ,ibe follow. ing resolutions, moved by Mr. Carruthers and seconded by Mr. Macdonald, were ur- | amipously adopted :—

W bereas, in the opinion of this meeting the question of establishing a Pork Packing Institution for the westero portion of the province is of very great interest to the members of tbis Association and to farmers generally,—

Resolved that this convention appoint Friday the 28th inst., at 2 p. m., as the date tor a general convention to be held in Summerside at which this question will be discussed, and the secretary be empowered to invite representative farmers from the different sections of the province to attend the same.
