They travelled upwards of nine hundred miles on snow-shoes, ran Out of provisions shortly after Igaving the mountains, but obtained sullicient game to | carry them through to Edmonton. Messrs. Moody and Sankey. — Great crowds continue to attend the meetings of Moody and Sankey in London. Services were held on et in Bow Hall and the Opera-house. Over 50,000 persons were pr resent, and thousands visited the inquiry rooms. ‘The criticisms of the newspapers, especially the World and Standard, upon the movement of Moody and Sankey, are virulent and incessant. There was an explosion in a building on the corner of Washington and La, Grange streets, Boston, at 6.30 on Wednesday evening last, which demolished it entirely. The lower story was occupied for an apothe- cary’s shop, while the other portions of the building were used as offices of various kinds, and lodging rooms. Four persons were kilted, three others will probably die, and eight are wounded. Work on the ruins continued all night, and there was a large crowd present: The cause of the ex- plosion is yet a mystery.
