Also it is undeniable that both the husband and the wife have an equal right to some of the money that they mutually earn to spend as they so desire; without reference to what the other thinks about it.

The right of each to give to their families, however, is just only so long as it does not work a hardship on the other. But often both hus- bands and wives are ruthless in the way they enslave their mates to their own people.

I think that husbands and wives should deal more justly with each other than they do in this matter of the dependent relatives. For many of these relatives are dependent simply because they are gold-diggers. At any rate the husband and wife have the first claim on the family

Some of the most lovable men in the world. some of the sweetest. gentlest, ienderest. most generous of men have this fatal habit, but no matter what their other virtues they are not fit for any woman to marry. They bring sorrow and shame and poverty to their wives. They break their hearts. -
