This is the last editicn of the UPEI SUN for the year '78—'79 which means this is the last editorial. No more Wednesday nights fussing and fuming and pleading with my staff. "Doesn't anyone have

. ﬁlm they want to say thisweek?" Writing editorials was by far the hardest job of being editor.

I feel carpelled to say something on the student tumout for the general meeting of the UPEISU. It's not eleven students who are the Student union, it's over thirteen hundred. Doesn't it bother you at all that you pay $45 Student Union fees and don't care in the least what's done with it? Surely you must have something to say - groan, praise or crnpﬂadn about. It's you people who have the power to change things if you wish satething to be changed. Eleven students turned out for that meeting, 5 executive members, 5 councillors and me student who had seen a sign in the Library and had.ccne ower to Duffy. Personally, I felt the lack of a turnout to be very discouraging. I hope that students next year will support their Union by doing more than attending Pig 'n Whistles. '

As this is our last issue, there are many people who I and the SUN staff wish to thank. The staff of the SUN this year has been excellent. 'Ihe same people have turned up every week to help out with the issues and their dedication is ever so much appreciated. Tb John, Maureen Murray, Pat, lee, Gerald, Maureen McCabe, Nora and Kevin (with his weekly delivery to Summerside). I thank you all so mudu. Your time, especially on those 4 o'clodt mornings, has been terrific.

Besides this group of workers there have been other whose contributions to the SUN must be noted. They are Mickey Place, Joanne Peters, John Neville, George Wallace, Laurie Tierney, Rita Pendergast,

Gus Gaudet, Anne MacEwen, Vince Mulligan, John Campbell, Derwin "Satdi". Banks, Claire Nantes, Stephen St. Vincent, Val Monsour, Barry Chandler, Mark IedWell, Kate O'Connell and our writers in "letters to the Editor". Thanks so much.

I have been honored with a memento by the Student ,Unim for my participation in the Exchange, but I feel that "one man's idea does not a coffee house make".
